The bump  out  pictured  above  was  for a kitchen  remodel. Customer wanted and island and we needed two feet extra to make it work.  We extended the floor out two feet then built a new wall and roof.  This is a great way to add space for kitchens, bathrooms or entertainment centers as shown on the photos on the right.
